In response to the order from District Administration, GoK to suspend water supply to MRPL for the next seven days, due to acute water shortage, MRPL has initiated even more strict water conservation measures.

“We are initiating partial shutdown of certain Units and also running some Units on reduced capacity to sustain minimal operations with available water”, said Shri M Venkatesh, Director Refinery, MRPL.

Said Shri H Kumar, Managing Director, MRPL, “We will review our water management daily and do our best to keep up the product supply. However, if the situation doesn’t improve in the next seven days, there is every likelihood of product supply in Karnataka getting affected.”
