Dedication of revamped gohds unit to the nation by secretary, MOP&NG
A function was organised on 30/04/2010 to mark the dedication of the revamped gohds unit. the unit was dedicated to the nation by Shri s. Sundareshan, secretary to Govt of India, ministry of petroleum & natural gas.
GGM (internal project) Shri S. R. Bhat welcomed Shri S. Sundareshan, secretary (petroleum) & other dignitaries of mopng. ggm (ip) also highlighted various challenges faced during the execution of the job & the way his team commendably achieved the commissioning of revamped gohds unit ahead of its original schedule. This could be achieved under the able leadership of our respected managing director Shri U. K. Basu and director (finance) Shri L K Gupta. ggm (ip) also thanked members of other teams specially technical services, operations, maintenance, materials, finance, hr, fire & safety, security and contractors & vendors, for their support and cooperation.
Shri S. Sundareshan, secretary petroleum unveiled the plaque & marked the dedication of revamped gohds unit to the nation. In speaking on the occasion, the secretary expressed his appreciation to mrpl for achieving commissioning of the gohds unit ahead of schedule & wished mrpl for more such successes in future.
Ggm (refinery i/c) Shri P.P.Upadhya delivered vote of thanks to the dignitaries’ & guests on the occasion. ggm (refinery i/c), on behalf of mrpl, assured the secretary that phase iii expansion project shall be completed ahead of its schedule similar to gohds unit commissiong's.
