A state of the art Railway siding for smooth evacuation of Petcoke and Polypropylene.
Dispatches by Railway Wagons will improve safety in transportation, reduced environmental pollution, Make MRPL products conveniently available in competitive markets and improve commercial realisation to MRPL.
The Railway siding is being executed by M/s Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) and M/s MECON are the EPCM consultant to execute the balance of the Project consisting of petcoke closed conveyor system, loading silos, measuring devices, pollution control facilities etc.
The Project is scheduled for completion by February 2019.
2. Capacity Revamp of CCR2:
The existing CCR-2 unit is being revamped to produce higher quantity of Reformate, yielding higher quantity of MS.
MRPL currently has two numbers of NHT/ CCR (Platformer Unit).Both the units are of identical capacity and licensed by M/s UOP. The objective of the unit is to upgrade the low octane heavy naphtha to High octane reformate. In MRPL the feedstock to the Platformer unit is heavy naphtha from crude distillation units and Hydrocracker units.
M/s UOP are the Licensor and M/s L&T, Chiyoda are appointed as EPCM consultant for the project.
The Project is scheduled for completion by end of Sep-2018.
3. MS, HSD, ATF Day Tanks, Loading Bays and Truck Parking Terminal:
This project would provide higher flexibility to our company and allow for higher marketing outreach.
The Project includes construction of MS, HSD and ATF tanks and Truck Loading facility along with the Truck parking terminal at Lower Plateau MRPL land adjacent to the refinery complex.
M/s MECON are EPCM consultant for the project. The Project is scheduled for completion by August 2018.
4. Pet Coke silos for Trucks Loading:
This facility allows our company to attain higher flexibility in marketing of Pet-Coke and to mitigate environmental impact of concentrated loading.
The Project includes installation of additional petcoke silos with associated conveying system.
M/s MECON are the EPCM consultant for the project. The Project is scheduled for completion by February 2019.
5. Additional Tankages:
This Facility will improve the Operation efficiency, enhancing the product portfolio.
The Project includes construction of following tanks.
Naphtha storage tanks at Aromatic Terminal (OMPL)-2 no’s.
VG-40 storage tanks-2 no’s.
Inlet receiving tanks at WWTP3-2 no’s.
M/s MECON are the EPCM consultant for the project. The Project is scheduled for completion by September 2018. .
6. Integrated Security Management System:
With an objective of upgrading the security infrastructure, MRPL has decided to implement an effective Integrated Security Management System (ISMS). The proposed solution should allow MRPL to locally and centrally monitor its facilities from a remote location securely on a Portable/Fixed personal computer monitor using IP-based Cameras in a bandwidth efficient manner. .
system comprises of Video Management System, Access Control System (for Control Rooms), Perimeter Intrusion Detection/Prevention System & the setting up of Command & Control Rooms. .
M/s Maha Infotech are appointed as EPCM consultant for the project. The Project is scheduled for completion by Sep-2018.
7. Civil Projects:
Following Projects are at various stages of construction
• Hazardous Waste Storage Shed
• Construction of Additional office space at 2nd floor of Administrative Building
• Site Grading work for Additional Tankages and ware house for BS VI Project.
